Baby girl mercy Adesuwe etemini need liver transplant.
Hello my name is isoken Michelle etemini,my baby girl mercy Adesuwe etemini was diagnosed of biliary atresia, a rare disease of the liver and bile duct that occurs in infants.
Baby mercy was born on September 14 2022 successful.Few weeks later I noticed her eyes was yellowish,made a call through to the midwife where I delivered her, was told to put her under the morning sun give glucose mixed with water to clear up the jundice which I had no knowledge about. I did that morning as instructed.
In the night she began to bleed from her navel we rushed her to the general teaching hospital unfortunately we were rejected according to a doctor the children ward is filled up already.
As directed by my midwife my sister, husband and I took her to a private hospital ,they stitched up the navel gave her injection still the bleeding continue till the next day we were praying crying to God to spare her life it finally stopped.
She was kept under the blue light for some days and was discharged but her eyes was still yellowish we became worried.
